As a way of putting power in the hands of the people, I have set up a website to enable the people of Shetland to vote on any issue of their choice, the issue can be debated and then voted upon.

For the first time, the politicians will have to keep looking over their shoulder to make sure they are doing what their electorate wants them to do. They will no longer have to pretend they know best and life will be a lot easier for them - they only have to do what they are told!

Control of the money they use on our behalf will follow - in fact it only has to be raised as an issue for that to follow.
